We're not knocking Skin1004's product by the way, but we'll tell you why the Etude House Cica Calming Ampoule Essence excels for some. In addition to the powerhouse ingredient of centella asiatica, the Etude House formula includes a good chunk of redness-reducing and soothing elements such as panthenol, allantoin and hyaluronic acid. This gives the Cica Calming Essence the edge for those with rosacea, post-inflammatory erythema (i.e. stubborn post-acne redness) and mild sunburn. We also love that it comes in a 50ml size, given the standard ampoule size is 15ml.
